The Joy of Moving Home School Festival - 20.05.20

The weather is meant to be amazing for most of the rest of the week.

Can you take advantage by getting involved in our PE Challenge provided by PNE?

The Joy of Moving Home School Festival booklet is attached. It is intended to be completed over an afternoon but you could try it over the next 3 days.

All of the instructions are in the booklet. You don't need a printer to take part but if you do want to complete any of the written tasks or submit an entry to the competition please send them to me via a picture.

But it is much more important to get moving and play the games!

Take lots of pictures and videos (if you are brave enough) and send them to me. I will share some on here, our school website and even twitter so you can show your friends and other schools.

You can find more information about each game and even videos to show you how to play at

Good luck, get playing, and most importantly

Net and Wall Games

During the summer 1 half term , we would have been learning in PE through net and wall games. Unfortunately most of us aren't in school at the moment but that's no reason to stop learning.

Why not try some 'Tennis at Home'...

The LTA have a great website full of resources:

LTA Youth isn’t just about tennis; it’s about kids developing mentally and physically on and importantly, off the court.

You can improve your tennis skills any time, any place, with their Home Activities hub, it's full of activities for the whole family.

The Home Activities hub consists of four areas. Click on a link below to be taken directly to that section:

We have uploaded the activity cards below to take you straight to them! Have fun with tennis at home.

Table Tennis

Table tennis can be played by anyone and anywhere, even at home on the kitchen table.

TT Kidz has launched 9 videos so you can get still get involved while at home. These include sessions on keepy-uppies and striking the ball.

These videos are nice and simple and can be done with or without a table tennis table – we will also be showing ways you can get involved if you don’t have access to table tennis equipment.
