Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is the framework that covers the education and care of all children in early years provision, including children with special educational needs and disabilities. Practitioners teach children by ensuring challenging, playful opportunities across the prime and specific areas of learning and development
Children’s progress and development is recorded using a document called an EYFS tracker that all practitioners use where providing education and care for children under the age of 5 years.
The purpose of the EYFS tracker is to enable parents and practitioners to support children in meeting their potential by ensuring they are making progress in all areas of their development at the right rate according to the child's age and stage of development.
The most important reason for monitoring each child’s development is to find out if a child’s development is on track.
Here in Little Blossoms we learn through play, we provide a fun, playful and stimulating environment tailored for each child as an individual led by our continuous provision areas and fully trained staff.
We pride ourselves on our Partnership with Parents, friendly welcoming staff and a stimulating learning environment.
We also have strong professional working connections with other agencies and professionals within our area should you have any concerns regarding your child’s individual progress or development.
