First Aid Course
One of the experiences in our Passport to Learning is to have completed a first aid course. This week, year 6 all attended and completed a course which will help them in an emergency situation.
This is an email I received from the instructor following the course:
“Thank-you for inviting us into your school. The children were an absolute pleasure to teach, very engaged through-out and so well mannered. You couldn't ask for much more!”
It was a pleasure to watch the children learn these vital skills.
Hothersall Lodge Climbing and SATs course
For the next six weeks, the children in year 6 will be visiting Hothersall Lodge to complete a climbing course. Whilst we’re there, we split into three - maths, literacy and climbing - and the children rotate around each activity throughout the day.
