At St Maria Goretti, we encourage your child to have a love of reading and sharing books. We deliver a daily phonics session in synthetic phonics and regularly listen to the children read. We follow Red Rose Phonics as our phonics program. We aim to build children's speaking and listening skills in their own right as well as to prepare children for learning to read by developing their phonic knowledge and skills.
