4th November - Diwali

20th October - People who help us - Alan, a police man, came to visit us today and told us all about his job. The children loved trying on the uniform and learning all about how Alan helps people in our community.

October 2021 - People who help us - we have been learning all about people who help us. We had 3 nurses come to speak to us all about being a nurse and helping people. One of the nurses works at the hospital on the children's ward, one works teaching other nurses and one nurse works in a care home.

7th October - Forest School - We went outside to look at all the different signs of Autumn. We read the story Leaf Man and made a 'Leaf Kebab.' We finished with a game of hide and seek!

Roald Dahl Day - 13th September - we had lots of fun today. We went on a hunt for golden tickets and went into the chocolate factory this afternoon to make cakes.

1st December - Decorating our Christmas Tree - we made salt dough stars, decorated them and hung them on our tree.

RE - we have been learning all about Baptism. We used role play to Baptise 'Baby Bobby'. We made baptism candles to give to the God Parents. Have a look at our amazing candles.

World Nursery Rhyme Week (16th - 20th November) - we celebrated nursery rhyme week by singing and performing lots of rhymes. Here is a video of the children performing The Grand Old Duke of York. We made dukes and marched around the hall singing the rhyme!

Our visit to Church - Father Pawel invited us into church this week. We sat down on the pews whilst Father told us all about the church. We talked about all the things we could see and Father gave us all a blessing.

RE - Our finished salt dough hand prints. We are all precious to God.

PE - have a look at our pictures of us doing some super PE. We have learnt about jumping, hopping, balancing and how to roll a ball.

Week Beginning 28th September - we have had a fantastic week in school. In RE we talked about being special to God and made hand prints out of salt dough. We made bunting for the local residential home (Bethany's House) and lots more. Take a look at the pictures of our learning!
