The Feast of the Annunciation – 25th March
Try to follow in Mary’s example of saying yes to God and to trust in him when things might seem worrying or scary.
May the purity of the candle light illuminate your life with blessings of the Lord.
During Prayer and Liturgy today we listened to the Gospel according to Luke. We heard about the time when, at only 40days old, Jesus was presented to the Temple in Jerusalem and Simeon held him.
Ask your children what they could do to shine bright, like Jesus.
“You are my Son, the Beloved, with you I am well pleased.”
Go home and tell someone that they are loved by you. Find a way to do something for that person that shows how much you love them. Remember how you felt when you did this and how happy you made someone else feel. This is how God feels about you. You are his ‘beloved’ too.
