Dips and Dippers - evaluating dips

This term the Year 1 children are designing, planning and evaluating a mini project. They are joining materials with a running stitch to make a scented bag and they are making a bookmark for their mum in preparation for Mother's day.

Here they are using the vocabulary of push, pull, needle, eye, thread and stitch as they practice sewing a running stitch on plastic 'binca' before they attempt their real project.
